LongboardDirectory is meant to be a resource for first the longboarder, then those involved in the industry. Our goal is not to make money, our goal is to promote the sport of longboarding in every way. However, due a small team of part-time paid staff, as well as organizing events and gathering information and pictures, we do need some way of supporting ourselves. However, we wish to offer the most competetive rates available, so as to cater to ANY company involved with longboarding - from the backyard hobbyists to the corporate giants. So, we hope that we have provided enough opportunities for everyone to have a chance to promote themselves....

Featured Listings (Manufacturers): There are 3 spots available for featured listings. Each listing is: 6.50/mo. Min ad campaign of 3 months. order

Featured Listings (Links Page): There are an unlimited number of spots available. The first 3 listings are more expensive. First 3 listings are 6.50/mo. All other listings are 4.00/mo. Min. ad campaign of 3 months. order

Bold Listing/Enhanced Listing: Make your listing stand out among the rest by simply bolding your listing title. Or add a small graphic, no larger than 50 x 30 pixels. Enhanced listings are 4.00/mo., min. ad campaign of 3 months. order

Classified Ads: Ads are listed in order of submission (newest first). Ads over 50 words are extra, as well as ads with pictures. Ad under 50 words: 6.00/mo. Ad over 50 words: additional 4.00 for every 40 words. Pictures: Limited to 300x300 pixels, one per ad, at an extra 4.00/mo. order

Banner Ads 706 x 59 pixels (wide x high): Main page is the most expensive, followed by every popular root page, and then the less-trafficked pages. The main page banner recieves approximately 328 impressions per day (as of Jan. 25/2005), and the site is growing rapidly. Other popular-page banners will recieve about 80% of the impressions that the main page recieves. order

Main Page Banner: 44.00/mo. min. 3 month campaign - Additionally, the Main Page Banner is also placed on every available page not yet taken for ad-space, so as to maximize coverage for the top advertiser.

Popular Page(s) Banner: 28.00/mo. min 3 month campaign - One "ad-location" on a popular page is actually displayed on every page in that series. For ex. the banner on the main "Reviews" page will also be displayed on every specific board review, user reviews and so on. This does not apply to the actual directory listings, however.

Less-popular page Banner: 19.00/mo. min 3 month campaign - These ads operate identically to the popular page(s) banners.

Email Newsletter Banner: 19.00/issue - This ad-space is sold per issue, however, if no one takes space, then the Main Page Banner will be displayed on all outgoing Emails.

Column Ads: Column ads are rated exactly the same way as banner ads, although they cost less. Small columns are exactly half the price of large columns, according to their respective page location. order
