Vancouver Island's "Adventure Games" introduces an entirely insane form of Downhill Longboarding.

Sponsors for the September Longboarding Race in Nanaimo

Imagine an intense longboarding course where you have to jump off ramps over railroad tracks, avoid crucial obstacles at high speeds, and finish it all off with a 90-degree hairpin turn to make the finish line...

Some would call it insanity.

Others would call it the "Vancouver Island Adventure Games", being held Sept. 16 - 18, 2005.

Registration is $40 CAD per rider.
