Program Details

The "LBD Wholesale Club" is merely an announcement list of prospective buyers that are able to, as a group, collectively act as a "bulk purchaser" of items normally reserved for larger buyers.

This is also called a "buyer aggregation"...

"Buyer Aggregator -- Model which describes buyer aggregation as the process of bringing together individual purchasers from across the Internet to transact as a group so they can receive the same values traditionally afforded to organizations who purchase in volume. Sellers pay a small percentage of each sale on a per-transaction basis."

Simply, we are coordinating one-time specials (ie. "blowouts") between manufacturers and our members. This is also called an endorsement joint venture.

So as to avoid any confusion or "toe-stepping" with this project - and because I only want to do it if it's FUN for everyone involved, I've decided to make the following changes. 1. I will NOT be running any long-term offers, so as to completely eliminate the notion that I'm running a "discount store". Far from it. 2. The maximum time-frame for any "deal" will be 3 days. 3. Members will only be notified about upcoming deals a maximum of 7 days prior to the offer going live. 4. I'm going to have any manufacturers that take part in this sign an agreement that states that to their knowledge, their involvement in offering a discount to my subscribers does not violate any contractual relationships that they may have with dealers, reps, distributors and so on. This information is also reflected on the updated signup page, except #4, which is irrelevent to participating buyers. I just wanted to make it crystal clear that all I'm doing is coordinating special offers from manufacturers to my subscribers. Disclaimer

Longboard Directory is merely an agent that coordinates this process between Manufacturer and Consumer, and assumes absolutely NO responsibility for any breach of contract between Manufacturer and any of their distributing agents.

IT IS THE MANUFACTURER'S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT IT IS WITHIN ITS OWN CONTRACTUAL ALLOWANCES TO PARTICIPATE IN OFFERING DIRECT DISCOUNTS TO OUR BUYERS FOR A LIMITED TIME PERIOD OF NO LONGER THAN 3 DAYS.

In fact, we may have any participating manufacturer's sign an agreement that acknowledges their understanding of the fact that by participating in the LBD Wholesale offers, they will NOT violate any active contracts or said terms with any of their other distributing partners, salespeople or agents.

Payments will be processed by the manufacturer's PayPal or merchant account over a secure server (must be military grade, PayPal is recomended). All payments will be tracked using accurate third-party affiliate software, and pre-determined commissions will be paid to "CR Longboards", owner of LongboardDirectory.com for each sale processed, as agreed upon and negotiated individually per offer with each Manufacturer prior to an offer being announced.

The Manufacturer is responsible for the receipt, processing and fulfillment of all orders placed by any of our members in any given endorsement.

Refund policies will be set individually per offer, and will be negotiated between LBD, the Manufacturer and possibly even the Consumer group in some unique cases.

In the event of a legal challenge for any reason, LongboardDirectory.com and its subsidiaries, holding companies, affiliates and proprietors can not be held responsible in any way, as we merely coordinate the transaction between Manufacturer and Consumer.

(This only applies to manufacturers that do not deliver according to the orders paid to them, as well as those that fail to pay commissions to LongboardDirectory in accordance with the individually negotiated commission percentages per sale generated.).

 

Communications Disclaimer: All members of LBD Wholesale Club have wilfully opted to join this program and have verified this notion by confirming their subscription to our Aweber-regulated list database by verifying both their subscription, intent and wilful decision by way of activating their account, as described in the verification message sent to their submitted email address shortly after online registration.

In other words, it is impossible for someone to join this group "accidentally", or without both opting to become a member, as well as verifying their decision and intent at a later date.

All members can easily decide to cancel their subscription by clicking a visible and obvious link at the bottom of any mailing that they may receive from LongboardDirectory.com.

This process is also called "verified opt-in" or "double opt-in", and goes above and beyond the regulations set in place by the "CAN SPAM" Act enforced by internet authorities in this applicable location.
